Registration is now open for participants interested in competing at the 2023 Asia-Pacific Masters Games in Jeonbuk, South Korea.  This event will take place from May 12-20, 2023 and it is anticipated that more than 10,000 Masters Athletes from 70 countries will compete in 26 sports.

International Masters Games Association Acting President Sergey Bubka stated, “After our successful first edition of the Asia Pacific Masters Games in Penang in 2018, I am looking forward to bring the Masters community together in Jeonbuk, South Korea in 2023.

“The Organizing Committee is in full preparation to deliver a high-quality event and thousands of athletes will be participating to celebrate the love of sport, friendships and camaraderie.

“South Korea will delight athletes with its spectacular natural scenery and they will discover a world of stunning nature when traveling around during and after the Games.”

In 2018, the first edition was held in Penang in Malaysia and attended by more than 5,000 athletes in 28 sports.

There are a number of activities, social events and tourism programs for Masters Athletes and spectators set to be organized during the event in Jeonbuk.  These Masters Games are intended to be a “sports for all” competition where any athlete over the age of 30 can participate to promote harmony, good health and friendship alongside competition.
