WMA Marathon World Championship Returns in 2024

World Masters Athletics (WMA) has announced that RunInBucharest has accepted the challenge to offer a World Championship for Masters Athletes in 2024.  RunInBucharest is an experienced, capable team and they are excited to host Masters runners and provide them with a World Championship experience.  Masters Marathon runners can again compete against the best runners from around the world in their age group.

The 2024 World Masters Athletics Marathon Championship will be run on October 13, 2024 in conjunction with the Bucharest Marathon. It is a quick course including most of the landmark sites in the city of Bucharest. It is a must to discover Romania’s Capital city sometimes called “Paris of the East”. Bucharest offers the combination of a visit to a vibrant city with a high-level sport embedded in a sports festival.
